but the ability to login with any JabberID isn't that easy and would be really a nice work!
Maybe I'm justnig pointing out the obvious, but since you are working on allowing users to log in via jabber-account, wouldn't the next step for jabber.org be to become an OpenID provider od its own??
I don't know how far the idea is evolved to simply implement OpenID into xmpp.
So everybody with a simple jabber/xmpp account could use it to login anywhere...
