In addition to the discussion lists, we host many permanent live chat rooms. Some popular rooms are:
- chat -- friendly discussion on any topic (join)
- jabber -- general discussion about Jabber ( join| log)
- jdev -- geeky discussion about Jabber software development and protocols (join | log)
- operators -- discussion about day-to-day operation of the Jabber/XMPP server network (join | log)
To join a room, log on to any Jabber server with your favorite Jabber client, then join "room-name" on the conference.jabber.org chat service. If your IM client is really cool you may just be able to click the links above.
